I've been drawing some digital pen & inks lately. You can really build up layers of detail and quickly lay down dark and light strokes. In some ways it is a little like working in scratchboard. With the awesome power of control+z.
I signed up to run a game of Warriors of the Red Planet at Big Bad Con October 17-19, 2014. It will be a 4th-6th level adventure. Characters will be provided. The adventure will have 3 components to it: a wilderness trek to ancient ruins where a mysterious and nefarious warlord threatens the mighty city-state of Helium from with his mechanized army, a dungeon adventure in the depths of the ruins, and a fantastic aerial battle at the end!
I'm attending Pacificon this coming weekend: Friday Aug 29-Sep 1. It takes place in the Santa Clara Marriott in California.
I have a few copies of Warriors of the Red Planet, but it doesn't look like my new batch will come in time so first come first serve. I do have art prints available. And of course Murder of Crows and Dungeoneer.
If you get a chance to attend, I am running a demo of Warriors of the Red Planet RPG in Open Gaming after the dealers room closes, so look around you'll see the sign.
-Whew-! That was a fair bit of work, but Warriors of the Red Planet RPG is now online ready for purchase. I decided to go with Lulu for now.
Remember this is a Beta edition, it has gone through multiple edits, still you may find occasional typos, some unclear passages, and some areas that could use a little more fleshing out. But it is at the point where it needs to be viewed and played by more people so we can get that feedback. (and please, discuss your experience with WotRP on our forum here: Platemail Forum)
While it may not yet be absolutely perfect, it is a damn fun read and I think you'll have a blast.
Right now it is only available as a print-on-demand book, but I verified the quality is very good. You will be happy to have this in your library.
